Comcast announced today it has unveiled new tiers of internet offerings across its Battle Creek service area. Comcast has launched three new tiers for residential customers: Extreme (400 Mbps), Extreme Pro (600 Mbps) and 1-Gigabit internet service. The company delivers these speeds using the existing wiring that most people already have in their homes.
Comcast will continue to offer residential customers its Blast! (200 Mbps), Performance (100 Mbps), and Performance Starter (25 Mbps) tiers as well.
Small and mid-sized business customers will also benefit from new, faster download speeds without costly and disruptive construction of new network facilities. The new Comcast Business Internet tiers now available are Business 300 Mbps, Business 600 Mbps and 1-Gigabit per second service.
“As residents rely on the internet now more than ever to work and learn from home, we have the advanced technology in place to meet this growing demand,” said Tim Collins, senior vice president for Comcast in Michigan. “We can provide our residential and business customers the flexibility to easily increase internet speeds to best fit their needs.”
