Comcast Business to host events throughout Michigan and Indiana to celebrate Small Business Month
May is Small Business Month, and Comcast Business is celebrating across the country. Here in the Heartland, we have several events planned throughout Michigan and Indiana to support our local small business owners.
Small Business Week with Mason in the Morning
May 4-10 is Small Business Week, and we have the treat for you! We’re excited to partner with Mason in the Morning on May 7 to keep both you and your network healthy. From 6am-10am, stop by the Detroit Association of Black Organizations (DABO) office at 12048 Grand River Ave for a physical health checkup from doctors onsite and a network health checkup from your local Comcast Business representatives. Then tune in to hear our CB reps on the air chatting about our services!
Celebrating in Muskegon
We’re continuing the celebration all month long. On May 14, local community and business partners can join us at our Muskegon Xfinity store located at 5506 Harvey St from 8:30-9:30 AM for a breakfast networking event with special guest, 94.5 radio personality Jordan H. Lass!
From 10am-7pm, our Comcast Business reps will be at the store so you can learn more about how our services can help you do business. There will also be a raffle for a trip to Michigan’s Adventure, so make sure to enter your name!
This month is extra special for Muskegon small business owners, since the Comcast RISE application is open for the entire month of May. 100 small businesses in Muskegon will receive a monetary grant, commercial, tech makeover, business coaching, resources, and more. Helping Entrepreneurs RISE
On May 15th, we’re hosting a Comcast RISE Grant Workshop at the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where attendees can learn about the Comcast RISE grant, get step-by-step guidance on how to apply, and discover funding and technology opportunities tailored for small businesses.

Comcast Business Coming to Local Xfinity Stores
Next, we’re moving on to celebrate small businesses in Indianapolis and Plymouth. Join us at our Indianapolis office at 5330 E. 65th St, Indianapolis, on June 9 from 3-6pm for an event featuring networking, giveaways, and an appearance from former Colts linebacker, entrepreneur, and author Gary Brackett!
