Sonya Callahan Named Regional Vice President of Residential Sales and Marketing for Comcast’s Heartland Region

Callahan brings nearly 25 years of telecommunications experience to role

In this role, Callahan will be responsible for leading the company’s regional direct and indirect, multi-family and retail sales channels in the Heartland Region, which serves millions of residential and business customers.
Callahan has nearly 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including 10 with Comcast. Most recently, she served as regional vice president of Comcast Business in the Heartland Region, where she managed a team of more than 200 employees and was responsible for leading commercial sales, marketing, operations, and new construction and market development across the region.
Throughout her career, Callahan has held numerous leadership positions in business sales, operations and engineering. Prior to stepping into her role as regional vice president of Comcast Business, Callahan served as senior director of Business Development for Comcast’s West Division. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing all network expansion projects across 13 states.
Callahan earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from Colorado State University. She is also a graduate of The WICT Network’s Rising Leaders Program, a premier professional development program for emerging women leaders in media, entertainment and technology.
