We invite you to join us, our family members, friends, and community partners in volunteering for one of more than 20 service opportunities across Michigan during our 16th Comcast Cares Day. We’ll be raking leaves, sprucing up gardens, packing food and helping many worthwhile nonprofits, including Motor City Blight Busters, Flint and Grand Rapids Boys and Girls Clubs, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries and Potter Park Zoo in Lansing, to name a few.
Projects kick off this Saturday and culminate on Comcast Cares Day, Saturday, April 22. This day of service is our companywide celebration of our year-round commitment to helping others. It is also the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer effort in the country.
“Supporting employee volunteerism that makes change happen in the community is a core value at Comcast,” said Tim Collins, regional senior vice president for our Heartland Region, which includes Michigan. “Part of what makes Comcast Cares Day so special is that we bring together not only our employees, but their friends, family members and other community members who wish to join our efforts in making Michigan an even greater place to live.”
